At LoCoA — the Local Community Alliance — we believe strong neighborhoods grow from informed homeowners, community involvement, and the everyday good that local businesses bring to the people they serve. Across Oklahoma City, family-owned and local service businesses quietly support their neighbors in meaningful ways.
LoCoA exists to help expand that good — through community projects, homeowner education, and collaboration with businesses that genuinely care about Oklahoma.
We are preparing for our full launch in early 2026, beginning right here in the OKC metro.
In the Oklahoma City area, local businesses consistently:
• help families during difficult seasons
• support schools, youth programs, and local events
• donate time, goods, or labor
• step in during emergencies
• participate in neighborhood improvement
• treat customers with honesty and kindness
These quiet acts of service strengthen the community, even when they go unnoticed.
LoCoA was created to help bring this impact forward — to support the people and businesses who make Oklahoma City better every day.
Beginning in the Oklahoma City Metro
LoCoA will begin its work in: Oklahoma City, Edmond, Moore, Yukon, Mustang, Choctaw, Del City, Midwest City, Nichols Hills, The Village, Bethany
Our mission is to strengthen local communities by partnering with the businesses that already make a difference — and helping them continue that impact.

LoCoA will organize and participate in community-centered projects across the metro, including:
• neighborhood improvement and cleanup events
• home-safety and preparedness initiatives
• volunteer-led service projects
• resource and donation drives
• local educational events and community days
These projects bring together residents, local businesses, and LoCoA volunteers with one purpose:
to strengthen and support Oklahoma City neighborhoods.
A major part of LoCoA’s purpose is educating homeowners so they can make confident, informed decisions.
LoCoA will provide resources and community education on:
• selecting reputable, trustworthy service providers
• understanding quotes, pricing, and home-service processes
• seasonal home-safety and maintenance guidance
• identifying red flags when hiring
• practical home-care tips
• avoiding scams or misleading services
• insider knowledge that promotes safe, smart home decisions
When homeowners are informed, the entire community benefits.
Helping Good Businesses Do More Good
Many Oklahoma City businesses already go above and beyond for their neighbors. LoCoA’s role is to support that impact — not change it.
We help by:
• recognizing meaningful community involvement
• supporting participation in community projects
• connecting businesses with opportunities to serve
• sharing educational resources that benefit families and neighborhoods
LoCoA exists to strengthen the connection between local businesses and the communities they care about.
Looking Toward 2026
LoCoA is moving intentionally as we prepare for our early 2026 launch. In the months ahead, we will share updates, highlight local stories, and announce community projects and homeowner education opportunities throughout the Oklahoma City metro.
For now, we remain grateful for the businesses and residents who make this city a strong, caring place to live.
